January 8, 2017
President, Kris Beck, called the regular council meeting to order at 11:00 am. Council members Kris Beck, Dennis Dahl, Brian Gilje, Martin Potts, Adam Wrage, Steve Melroe, and Joleen Hardy were present. Also present was Pastor Ivy Schulz.

Motion to adopt agenda as amended, with discussion on 2-point parish with Trinity Lutheran Church of Forman added. Gilje/Wrage. All in favor, motion carried.
Secretary’s Report. Motion to accept the minutes of the previous meeting. Gilje/Dahl. All in favor, motion carried.
Treasurer’s Report. No Report.

Church Work Group Reports:
Property & Grounds: Cold in the sanctuary and lights are dim.
WELCA: None
Men’s Group: Annual Meeting will be January 18
YOGA: Leaders discussed the 2018 schedule and youth gathering.
Education: Sunday School and YOGA were caroling at Four Seasons.
Altar Guild: None
Worship & Music: Choir started today. Tournament of hymns during March.

Motion to approve amended 2017 budget. Potts/Hardy. All in favor, motion carried.
Discussed items for the annual meeting agenda.
Next meeting is moved to February 19.
Informational meeting will be held February 26 in fellowship hall to discuss remodeling of the kitchen. We have about $15,000 to start but are going to have to do some fundraising.

Pastor Ivy was contacted by Trinity Lutheran Church of Forman about discussing the possibility of having a 2-point parish with them. At this time, there is no interest.
